For many of us, the next few months are going to be a period of an amazing life changing transformation. Changing your lifestyle is not easy. In fact, it can be very challenging. Luckily you’re not alone. Transformations affect us mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Think about it – you are literally changing the way you live. Being conscious of what you eat and how much. Arranging your schedule to make sure you get some physical activity in. Distancing yourself from those who do not motivate and inspire you. Seeking a positive mindset even when you are feeling negative. THIS IS HUGE. LIFE CHANGING. This may be one the biggest steps you take towards a happier, healthier life. Below are my 5 Motivation Secrets for Transformation Success.

First. Find a Role Model. Who is someone you look up to? This may be more than one individual. Think realistically. I have a few celebrities I admire, but my role models are those close to me. Find what it is you strongly respect from them. Use those reasons as motivation to yourself.

Second. Be Accountable. Find something/someone who helps you stay accountable to your goals. I have a few tactics I use for this. First, meal prepping. Prepping my meals in advanced helps me stay accountable to my nutrition goals. Second, Aunt Missi. Her and I exchange texts daily that are encouraging and motivating to help each other stick to our fitness goals.

Third. Set Goals & Be Specific. I find it much more successful to write down and speak my goals. Allowing myself to see and hear what I want to achieve is much more realistic. When I set a timeline to achieve my goals it gives me much more motivation to succeed.

Fourth. Don’t Take the Easy Way Out. We are talking about transforming your life. Don’t you dare try to cut corners. Complete each task. Go all the way with your cardio. Finish out each exercise. Each day strive to give 100%.

Fifth. Be Positive & Start Each Day Fresh. Positive thoughts keep you motivated to keep you going. When you feel positive it inspires you to do better. It gives us a sense of accomplishment. Even when feeling down and negative, try your hardest to turn part of the situation into a positive. Did you have an ‘oops’ moment yesterday? Move on. I assure you any ‘oops’ moment is not worth dragging into the next day.

Here is to the next few months of a BEAUTIFUL transformation. We’re in this together!
